David Hough, MD previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Freedom Biosciences. Prior to joining Freedom, Dr. Hough spent 17 years  in various leadership roles at Janssen Research and Development, LLC (a Johnson & Johnson company). Most recently, he was the leader of the compound development team working on Spravato (esketamine).

Dr. Whitaker brings nearly three decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, following eight years of experience in academic medicine.

His pharmaceutical industry experience includes a number of senior clinical leadership roles across multiple biotech companies and global pharmaceutical organizations, including serving as CMO of three different Biotech companies.
